The other forgotten necessity (article)

The other forgotten necessity.

Todays is a fast moving world, where life is becoming a burden and every movement made is right along with the hands of the clock. But being a part of this jungle, not only are we forgetting the main purpose of everything we do,but are also unable to realize that there are actually more important things we ignore while in this quest to perfection and achievement of goals.

It is very common for one to ignore their family and friends, spending extra hours at work,or with the college activities or education. Living away from home is a common phenomenon and is encouraged as well for a better and stable future. But as human beings having one goal set we tend to neglect the fact that there are other things that are actually more important than that extra client you'd arrange a meeting with, or that extra hour in the library you'd spend pondering over material of no use. We tend to embrace these plastic dreams and these goals at the cost of (maybe not intentionally) losing our loved ones. And sometimes those people themselves don't realize that effect caused by this behavior of the busy person on them, but this effect is undeniable.

The commonality of one missing their parents' funeral, or their siblings going through the roughest time of their life at the hospital is not new. But as people who claim to love their family members and friends so much, it is our responsibility to pause our lives, take a deep breath and really think, and figure out if this is the way we chose to live?. If really the satisfaction of work (or maybe not) given more importance than spending a bit of your daily time with the ones that actually do matter is the right thing to do. Its not their fault they cant do what your university, or that country you're living in or that company you're working in can do for you. But surely after achieving all that, wanting them back as though nothing ever happened after keeping them on hold for yrs is not the way!. If you by any chance even after that are expecting them to welcome you with open arms, well, then you're just expecting too much!. Time and distance can change things that no one can help, and the sad possibility is that you might even miss out on those people whom you were working so hard for for good. No one can help the way they feel, some of those people might have changed feelings for you.

Having an aim in life, regarding anything is good. Setting goals helps a person to be focussed and productively live his life. But it is important for one to keep in mind while working so hard on these goals (especially if you're living away from home) to keep in touch with family, be interested in their life, show love and express it, indifferences in relationships are caused mainly due to not giving enough time and support to the ones who need you when they need you. Wanting them to understand your life can happen only when you also make an effort to understand theirs.

All in all; it should be ones goal in life also to always do whatever it takes to keep those people that mean so much to you close,no matter the distance no matter the busy and hectic schedules,no matter the situations of your life because they are merely excuses. Them living their lives; wanting you to be wanting them is not the way.

Never should one underestimate the loss caused by losing of their loved ones, if you truly love them don't ignore them, because the misconception that they should be the ones who should understand your life and be the ones who should bear with you while you are in the process that usually lasts for a long time has to be taken out of our minds and thrown away. Because that is nothing but impractical and selfish, life is to small to have them bear with you because you are way too busy. And in the end of the day you might just end up the loser, who's gained everything material, but lost his/her people in the process.

A baby or an adult

A baby or an adult

you see I'm in my early teens
and piling up in a stack are my needs
sometimes i think I'm completely crazy
but i really wanna be a baby
i would sleep where ever i wanted
and whatever id do id be noted
for i would be the centre of attraction
and people would wait to see me in action
i may just be lying on the bed like a fool
but imagine how much it would be cool
for i would have no worries nothing to think about
no school no studies and not listen to my parents shout
i would have no tension no responsibilities
not that i don't face the reality
but anything i would give to be free
'cause i really don't wanna be a tree
i wanna be the innocent one, the small one, the cute one
whose life for years would be full of fun
well, that reminds me that this baby will grow up.
So why not face the challenges now made up?
so why want to go through the pain again?
maybe life would be sicker then
at least i know i Had a good childhood
years also to go through it took
so i guess I'll continue with what i am
'cause anyway being a baby is not what i can!!

Complicated

Complicated

Why do things have to be so complicated?
Why is there wrong and right?
Why cant there be no worries?
why is there false sight?

Why couldnt life be clear?
Why is there always pain?
Why do we have fear?
Why is life such a game?

Why do things change so fast?
is it really necessary?
why do we get so lost?
is this the way it's meant to be?

Why do we not stand up for ourselves?
is hypocrisy a part of us become?
Why cant we answer the 'why's'
why cant we just get some rest?

Why can't we ask for help?
Why can't we trust anyone?
Why can't we take control of our lives?
is that asking for too much?

lonliness and stress are our new friends
pained and unhealthy are our souls
clouded are our minds
getting closed are all doors

It's too late to make it nice
i don't think its a choice no more
Whys is it all so complicated?
why has life become such a bore?
